June Round Up – Traffic and Income

Wow, this month really has flown by, this being the 8th Traffic and Income report and the blog is certainly becoming larger in terms of content!

I had a few goals to accomplish this month and I pretty much met them! Every month I publish my traffic and income reports to show you how the blog is progressin and everything that I have done during the month!

 

 

 

What Have I Got Up To In June

This month I wanted to give you guys some quality content because last month I only managed to get 1 post out. So I spent time focusing on creating content for the blog. I also wanted to get some more guest posts out there to build awareness to the blog and also gain some quality back links!

I have also started to get a few more requests for my services, especially building blog networks. So I will be launching a new section to the site where you can purchase SEO services directly from me!

 

Went to Portugal on a Stag do!

I spent 4 days in Portugal on a mad weekend for my friends stag do! It’s safe to say I was a little rough when I returned home and that had an affect on my productivity!

My monthly trips abroad are coming to an end for a little while now as we have a baby on the way in the next few weeks!

 

 

 

 

Got my Guest Post featured on Jeff Bullas

Guest posting is one of the best ways to build your brand and gain popularity. So far I have had guest posts published on Matthew Woodward, Tung Tran, and now Jeff Bullas blog! It took me a while to write it and it brought in a bit of extra traffic whilst also building.

One thing I have noticed with guest posts is that they don’t bring in a ton of new traffic. Just a short spurt and that’s pretty much it. But one thing they are good for is back links. If I want to increase my Domain authority I need high authority sites linking to me!

So I will keep guest posting for as long as I am running my blog!

Traffic

 

Traffic is slightly down on last month and thats partly due to me not getting involved on the forums as much! A bit disappointing as I would like to see my traffic increasing each month!

 

Where did the traffic come from

Im happy to report that my Google organic traffic is increasing and has done every month! Last month it was at 547 and it’s now increased to 721 🙂

This is a avery important factor to me as building up a following is one of the key factors to successful blogs!

I know this is your favourite part, and although earnings is not on the forefront of my mind there have been trickles appearing!!

Summary

Another busy month for me and I’ve managed to complete the tasks I planned last month! Im happy to have gotten another guest post out there and although my traffic has dropped slightly my income rose by quite a bit which is nice to see!

It was a little strange really, last month my targets were to get upto 750 Google organic traffic and 200 email subscribers….. Almost spot on 🙂

 

Plans for next month

I would like to see my Google organic traffic to reach 1000 and I also aim to get another guest post published on one of the leading blogs.

I will be publishing at least 2 new posts again and I will also aim to release my ‘services’ page!! Hopefully this will help my earnings to increase
